Press Release By John Beagle More Hurricane Katrina Relief: International Technology Rental Association to Donate Thousands of US Dollars
The International Technology Rental
Association (IT-RA) members are reaching out
and supporting the needs of those affected by Hurricane Katrina in
Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida.
The IT-RA has a personal stake in making sure that businesses in the region recover from this disaster. Many of our members are located or have family, customers, or suppliers in the hurricane disaster area. IT-RA is matching all worldwide member donations up to $2500. In the first few days of fundraising, many IT-RA members have already pledged to donate thousands of US dollars to Katrina Hurricane victims. In addition to
financial aid, many IT-RA members are supporting hurricane damaged
businesses with additional discounts on computer equipment rentals
and technology installation services as they answer the emergency
needs of those businesses relocated from the stricken area.
ABOUT IT-RA: The goal of the IT-RA is to
bring awareness of the best use of technology equipment rentals
and to fit the customer with a IT-RA member rental company which
can best service their needs. In 2000, the IT-RA, formerly the
National Computer Rental Association (NCRA) started in the
United States with 10 independent computer rental companies. As
of January 2005, the IT-RA has 35 member companies. IT-RA member
companies all have high standards of performance and ethics in
the computer rental and audio visual industry. Companies are
made members by invitation only and must pass general membership
approval prior to acceptance into the association. The IT-RA
website is located at
http://www.IT-RA.org.
